Personal Description: I have taught English Language and Literature for the last six years in the UK to students aged **Telephone Number Removed** have been employed as an ambitious and hardworking teacher and leader of English at my school in the UK which has seen excellent results year after year. Committed to developing and implementing new teaching initiatives, my keen desire is to pass on the passion and motivation I have for English language and literature to young people. I can effectively sustain student interest through my teaching of English (11-18) and in turn show them how a variety of literature can be relevant to them and their lives. Whilst remining patient, friendly and enthusiastic, I tailor my teaching to my students for a personalised learning experience to ensure success.

Tutoring Experience: I am an experienced teacher of a range of abilities for students aged 11-18. Having previously tutored younger students, I am aware of the skills that need addressing for a smooth transition to high school and higher level study. An advocate of developing a variety of teaching and learning styles, I constantly strive to ensure that learners have an engaging and challenging tutoring experience whilst enjoying the benefits of studies within English. I have a proven track record of raising standards and achievement for the students I have been responsible for. Whether students need to address sentence and word level grammatical difficulties or refine essay writing skills in preparation for examinations, I have a range of simple strategies to assist progress.

Tutoring Approach: I appreciate the need for catering for all learners to ensure they are constantly meeting and surpassing their personal targets. An initial tutoring session will help me to determine a student's needs and develop a personalised learning programme tailored to build upon pre-existing skills whilst striving for progress. My sessions are fun and interactive and encourage learners to become more confident in their English Studies. I usually tutor on an individual basis but am happy to also tutor pairs or small groups. Each tutoring session usually lasts one hour.
